Carl Sargeant to attend Shotton Infants School Centenary Celebrations
Shotton Infants School is a hundred years old and Carl Sargeant AM for Alyn & Deeside will attend the School’s Centenary Playground Party this Friday the 3rd of July. The event will be a celebration of the school from its beginnings through to the present day, it will include an historical fancy dress parade, an exhibition of the history of the School, stalls, and party games, singing and dancing. Also a pottery mural of the School and surrounding areas will be unveiled.
Carl Sargeant AM for Alyn & Deeside said “Shotton Infants School has been an important part of our Community for the past one hundred years and I am delighted to be able to join the School in celebrating this milestone anniversary. I am looking forward to joining the Chair of Governors Cllr Ann Minshull at the School on Friday for what promises to be an action packed celebration of the School’s history
