BUCKLEY POST OFFICE TO RECEIVE FUNDING BOOST
LABOUR AM Carl Sargeant has congratulated staff at Buckley Post Office after they successfully applied to the Post Office Diversification Fund.
Buckley Post Office is one of 41 across Wales to be awarded part of approved grants of more than £725,00 to to expand their range of services they offer or upgrade their premises.
Buckley Post Office is using the grant to completely refurbish the current Post Office.
Carl Sargeant AM for Alyn & Deeside said: “I am delighted that Buckley Post Office is to benefit from the fund. Post Offices are at the heart of the community and are often a lifeline for vulnerable people.”
“This money will help us to keep Post Offices open by ensuring that sub-postmasters and sub-postmistresses have sustainable and viable businesses, and I am delighted that so many Post Offices in Wales have been able to take advantage of the fund.”
