AM Congratulates Fundraisers

CARL SARGEANT CONGRATULATES HELP FOR HERO’S FUNDRAISERS

Carl Sargeant AM for Alyn & Deeside recently called in at a charity fundraising event that is in its second year.

Members of Penyffordd and Penymynydd Royal British Legion held a charity fundraiser in aid of ‘Help for Hero’s’. This was the second consecutive year that the event has been held and once again it was a success with over 150 in attendance and over one thousand pounds was raised for the charity.

“Help for Heroes is a fantastic organisation that raises money to support members of the Armed Forces who have been wounded in the service of their country and it was encouraging to see so many people turn out in force at the Penyffordd British Legion to support the cause, well done to all the organisers.”
