Local AM Welcomes Long Awaited
Flood Alleviation Scheme

Alyn & Deeside AM Carl Sargeant has welcomed an announcement by Welsh Water that work is due to commence on a long awaited Flood Alleviation scheme in Buckley.
The improvement scheme works will begin on May 9th and will improve the wastewater network in the areas of Brunswick Road, Linthorpe Drive and Dukes field Drive.
Carl Sargeant local Welsh Assembly Member said,
“I welcome the Flood Alleviation works, it will be of benefit to local residents and I hope the scheme can be carried out with minimal interruption to the local Buckley community.”
