AM Welcomes Library Investment

Alyn & Deeside AM Carl Sargeant has today welcomed a massive £300,000 investment for Buckley Library.

The funding windfall is part of an investment of £2.8 million in grants to develop the work of libraries, museums and archives across Wales.
The funding supports a range of projects that vary from large scale modernisation of public library buildings to supporting volunteer-run museums.
Carl Sargeant AM for Alyn & Deeside said today,
“I am delighted that Buckley library has been given such a significant funding boost, this announcement follows on from a previous grant for Connah’s Quay Library and I am certain that this funding will provide Buckley residents with a modern library to be proud of.”
