At the event local AM Carl Sargeant was asked to unveil a plaque in memory of Libby and also to officially rename the Community Cafe in her memory.

Carl Sargeant AM, said,

“It was a real honour to unveil a memorial plaque and to dedicate the Community CafĂ© as a symbol of the fantastic volunteering work that Libby provided to our local community. The memorial event was a touching way to celebrate the life of a well-loved community worker.”
